The Sales Manager leads and manages the sales team to meet or exceed sales goals. This includes developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing the sales process, and building customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase sales and maximize profits
Monitor and analyze sales performance, sales reports, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
Work closely with counterparts or principals for smoother operation, costing issues, and achieving the target set
Build strong relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service
Train, coach, and motivate the sales team to meet performance and sales goals
Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and disputes
Coordinate and participate in industry trade shows, seminars, and forums
Keep abreast of market trends and developments to execute sales strategy effectively
Ensure prompt payment collection from customers
Perform technical demonstrations of the product
Job Requirement
Diploma or Degree or its equivalent
At least 5 years of relevant experience in the electronics industry, preferably in the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) or Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) manufacturing sector
Personnel who possess technical skill in the above-mentioned industry and wish to switch career path to the sales field is welcome; sales training and guidance will be provided
Possess an extensive network, contacts and relationships in the related PCB and PCBA manufacturing industry
Sales driven and proactive in providing recommendations and solutions
Must be a proactive, outgoing, flexible person and have good interpersonal skills
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Willing to travel outstation or regionally for business purposes
